Who are Chuck & Karen Clayton?Apostle Chuck Clayton and his wife, Karen, were married in 1960. They accepted the call of God to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1968. Shortly after they experienced the infilling of the Holy Spirit and Chuck was called to leave his job at the Colgate-Palmolive Company in Clarksville, Indiana and begin raising up other churches and helping existing churches fulfill their vision.
Chuck and Karen have one son, Jeff, who is serving as Administrator for the ministry; and also has his own computer business. He and his wife, Terri, have been trained in the Prophetic Prayer Counseling. Terri is gifted in the prophetic and trained in expressive dance as well. Jeff and Terri have three children, Victoria (Tori) Lynn, Christian Thomas and Charles William (TREY).
The Clayton's have begun a Mentoring Program during which time they share their hearts with leadership accross the country with the purpose of encouraging and strengthening these leaders to fulfill their destiny in God, and to promote establishing relationships with each other. These meetings have been instrumental in bringing about unity among the Brethren as they come together from their different streams and begin to flow as one mighty river.
The ministry also provides a Ministry Assessment Program (M.A.P.) for the churches. By interviewing a cross-section of the church congregation we are able to evaluate the strengths as well as the weaknesses in the ministry and make recommendations which are beneficial in helping the pastor and leaders to set goals to strengthen any weakness that may have been discovered. The Lord has used this tool to alleviate potential disasters in many churches.
Chuck has established A.R.M., Apostolic Resource Ministries, with the slogan..."Establishing Relationships That Build People". This ministry is established upon relationships and the resources are "people".
It is the vision of this apostolic ministry to help establish churches and to strengthen and encourage ministers to stand strong in the vision God has birthed in their hearts.
In 1995, Chuck Clayton established A.R.M. to meet the needs of caring for leaders through relationships, not organizations. One way this is accomplished is through Mentoring. Chuck Clayton's heart is to assist Christian leaders in fulfilling their destiny.
To build relationships based on covenant, mentoring, accountability, and training.
To establish you in who you are by imparting a sense of identity, security of competence, and affirmation of worth.
To help you fulfill your gifting, destiny and purpose.
To provide a secure atmosphere where all five fold ministries can work together to enlarge the Kingdom.
To provide a secure atmosphere where communication and relationships can prosper.
To promote relationships that lead to mentoring and accountability at all levels.
To provide examples that can be followed. Phil. 3:17
